• Y'all might be wondering, "So what the heck is this Mon Poll matter anyway?"
  Well, it isn't much of a poll. It'south more but a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I've been putting out to readers every Monday morn for the by three years, which I judge makes this somewhere around Vol. 189. I've always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I promise you lot savor reading mine.

1. Mood:

I'm all the same a fiddling groggy this morn, merely I had a nice, relaxing weekend. I need my tea to hurry up and work its magic, though, so go, caffeine, go!

2. A children's book that brings dorsum fond memories for yous?

Gosh, in that location are then many. Ane of my favorites was The Very Hungry Caterpillar; I remember my mom reading it to me all the fourth dimension. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Charlotte's Web and The Giving Tree were some of my other faves.

3. If your life were fictionalized and made into a flick, what genre would it be?

Sci-fi 4ever! Or maybe something with vampires.

4. Are you saving up to buy anything?

New role article of furniture, namely a larger desk-bound, and a dining room prepare. Yep, after two years living here I still don't accept any furniture in my dining room (we eat at a coffee tabular array on the living room floor). Non heady, I know.

5. Where was your first buss?

Information technology was… I honestly can't recollect. But I guess it was pretty lame if my selective amnesia is boot in, LOL!

6. A volume y'all started reading but never finished?

Game of Thrones. I fabricated it through about three quarters of information technology last summer but and then couldn't bring myself to finish it after [SPOILER Warning! STOP READING Here IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!] Ned lost his head.

It broke my eye.

7. Do you have a adept luck charm?

Nah, non really, but I do believe that randomness and risk are a role of life.

8. Your favorite place to grab cheap eats?

Lately, Chipotle, even though the way their menu is written drives me nuts. Why do they write, "cheese OR sour cream?" when you tin can have both?

9. Which celebrities or other famous people have you seen in real life?

I walked past (my mouth afraid) Liz Phair at the airport in Las Vegas once, and last summer I spotted Carrie Anne Moss (Trinity!) buying gourmet cheese at a market place in Vancouver. Oh, and this was kinda cool: a few years ago El Hub and I stood in line correct behind George Lucas at the movies. I forget which movie it was, but he lives here in Marin Canton. We were both trying to play it cool and didn't want to bother him, simply I'grand sure we looked like freaks. El Hub nevertheless regrets non telling George how much he likes the Clone Wars cartoon.
